Sky Ride

Sky Ride is a national campaign from Sky and British Cycling created to inspire and help everyone whatever their age or ability to get on their bikes with the ambition to get 1 million more people cycling regularly by 2013 . They are working in partnership with Bucks Sport and AVDC and they've created a whole range of ways for people to get involved. During 2011 they held numerous events in the Aylesbury area including local rides. Details of their 2012 programme are listed on www.goskyride.com.

 Chiltern Society have three cycling groups meeting every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Thursday ride is short, leisurely paced for people returning to cycling and those wishing to gain confidence in riding with a group.

Monday is for more experienced cyclists wishing a longer ride.

Tuesday group is for cyclists who prefer off road cross country riding.

Amersham Road Cycling Club

Amersham RCC run club rides every Sunday starting in Great Missenden.

There are four ride levels (Steadies, Mods, Mods Plus, Fasts) to cater for different cycling strengths.

Rides leave at 9:00 am from the Link Road Car Park (where parking is FREE on Sundays) in Great Missenden. For details see www.amershamrcc.com.

Aylesbury Cycling Club

Aylesbury Cycling Club organise group rides every Saturday and Sunday. Saturday rides are shorter than Sunday's and are intended for new riders or people returning to cycling.

The also have an MTB section with a ride programme.

South Bucks CTC - Rides

South Bucks CTC. Organise rides most Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting at various points in the Aylesbury, Chiltern Hills and Thames Valley areas. Rides sometimes start in or near Wendover.  Details of their events are on www.southbuckscycling.org.uk.
